Product Name:Thermal Forming Molds
Area Made:USA
Explanation:If crisp edges, undercuts, fine surface details and other aesthetic concerns are of importance to your product--or if you require controlled wall thickness for strength--pressure forming might be the process you need. Pressure forming is a type of thermoforming that involves the traditional "vacuum draw" to pull the heated plastic onto the mold. But at the same time, air is also inserted from the "back side" of the mold to press the plastic more firmly. The result is sharp corners and other details normally attainable only through injection molding. However, the cost for pressure forming tooling is only a fraction of what is required for injection molding. It is almost always the process of choice for low to medium part quantities especially when the parts are large in size. Particularly suitable are such items as computer housings, business machinery and electronic equipment.

Product Name:Thermal Forming Molds
Area Made:USA
Explanation:CPF's ability to make many molds in house (for wood and "constructed" molds), as well as patterns for aluminum molds, gives us much more control over production schedules. Rapid prototypes can often be realized in one week, with full part production is four to six weeks.
Model number:T00013
Product Name:Thermal Forming Molds
Area Made:USA
Explanation:In general, our inline machines can handle any material that comes in roll form. Single part sizes can be as large as 30 inches x 36 inches, but molds can typically be manufactured to accommodate multiple parts within that area. This means greater production quantities in a shorter period of time at less cost. These parameters for our inline machines are just rough guidelines. There is much more to consider including the "draw" (or depth) of the part, the composition of the plastic being used and many other factors. Our design engineering capabilities, in-house tooling design and manufacture along with quality part manufacturing process have made Custom Plastic Forming a leader in thin gauge solutions.
